Co-founder of a hardware startup designing and developing a bicycle lighting system. It illuminates the wheels of your bicycle, increases your visual presence on the roadway and better communicates to drivers your presence and behavior.
Artist in Residence - Mattress Factory

Designed and fabricated the exhibit "Living Things" in collaboration with Jacob Douenias, which consists of three vignettes of a home environment that actively cultivate spirulina algae. It explores a near future where humans live symbiotically with these beneficial microorganisms.
Fortnight Intern - IDEO

I was invited to come to IDEO's Chicago office for a two week residency internship called Fortnight. I was given free reign to research or design anything for those two weeks, utilizing the resources at IDEO.
3D Lab Monitor - Carnegie Mellon University

Shop monitor for the School of Design 3D shop. It was my job to organize the shop and maintain the equipment, and make sure students left the shop with the same number of fingers they brought - 100% success rate.
