In the fall of 2015 I taught an undergraduate senior level studio course called Play Lab. The class focused on agile prototyping in new and novel environments, as well as speculative design and design fiction. In the spring of 2016 I taught an independent study studio about biodesign as part of the Biodesign Challenge.

Artist in Residence - Mattress Factory

Designed and fabricated the exhibit "Living Things" in collaboration with Jacob Douenias, which consists of three vignettes of a home environment that actively cultivate spirulina algae. It explores a near future where humans live symbiotically with these beneficial microorganisms.
Fortnight Intern - IDEO

I was invited to come to IDEO's Chicago office for a two week residency internship called Fortnight. I was given free reign to research or design anything for those two weeks, utilizing the resources at IDEO.

I teach high school students enrolled in the arts pre-college program about industrial design. I designed the course and take them through a history of design, skill building workshops and a holistic final design project.

Shop monitor for the School of Design 3D shop. It was my job to organize the shop and maintain the equipment, and make sure students left the shop with the same number of fingers they brought - 100% success rate.
